Mr. Tsewang Norboo is the owner and host of Horlam Homestay, situated in Khardong village in the Nubra Sub-Division of Ladakh. Established in August 2025, the homestay is an independently owned family enterprise that provides visitors with a comfortable stay and an opportunity to experience the peaceful village environment of Khardong. Tsewang is a retired individual, and his primary household income comes from his pension. Horlam Homestay has three livable rooms, including two guest rooms measuring approximately 12 × 12 sq. ft. each. The homestay provides well-furnished accommodation, a dining area, a good-quality guest bathroom with hot and cold water, and free parking. It has regular electricity, with solar lanterns available as a backup during power cuts. Heating during winter is provided through a Bukhari and heater. Guests are served vegetarian food, and the host is also willing to prepare traditional Ladakhi cuisine.
