Lharjey Homestay is a welcoming family-owned homestay located in Khardong village, Nubra, established in 2025 by Sonam Paljor, a farmer and ex-serviceman. The property offers a comfortable and authentic Ladakhi village experience, combining warm hospitality with opportunities to experience local farming and everyday life. The homestay has 4 livable rooms, including 3 guestrooms. Two guestrooms measure approximately 12 × 14 sq. ft., while the third measures 16 × 15 sq. ft. Guests have access to well-furnished rooms, clean bathrooms with hot and cold water, a dining area, free parking and convenient access to the main road and local market. Regular electricity is available, with a generator and solar lanterns as backup. Winter heating is provided through a Bukhari and heater.

Mr. Sonam Paljor is the owner of Lharjey Homestay, situated in the scenic village of Khardong in the Nubra Sub-Division of Ladakh. Established in 2025, Lharjey Homestay is a family-owned and operated accommodation that reflects the warmth, simplicity and hospitality of village life in the Nubra region. Sonam is primarily engaged in farming and comes from a household whose main source of income is an ex-serviceman pension. His experience of rural life, farming and the local environment gives him a strong understanding of the traditions and everyday lifestyle of Khardong. Through the homestay, he has an opportunity to share this local knowledge with visitors while creating an additional source of income for his family.
