Established in 2026 and surrounded by the natural beauty of the region, the homestay offers visitors an opportunity to experience the simple, authentic lifestyle of a Ladakhi farming family. Owned and managed by Jigmet Lundup, an active farmer, Zurba Homestay has four guest rooms within a spacious eight-room house. The rooms are designed to provide a comfortable stay while allowing guests to enjoy the quiet surroundings and welcoming atmosphere of village life. The family is actively involved in agriculture, with agricultural land, a functional kitchen garden, and a reliable source of milk. Guests can experience aspects of local life through farming and daily household activities. A member of the family also practices the traditional skill of spinning, offering visitors a glimpse into the region's traditional crafts and heritage.

Jigmet Lundup is a farmer from Chumathang village in the Nyoma Sub-Division of Ladakh and the owner of Zurba Homestay, established in 2026. Deeply connected to agriculture and village life, Jigmet is now taking a new step into community-based tourism by opening his home to travelers. Zurba Homestay is designed to provide guests with a comfortable and authentic experience of Chumathang. With four guestrooms, a kitchen garden, livestock, and a peaceful village setting, the homestay offers visitors an opportunity to experience traditional Ladakhi hospitality and everyday rural life. Jigmet is also willing to serve traditional Ladakhi cuisine and involve guests in farming and local cultural activities.
