Welcome to Sal Sal Homestay, a family-run homestay located directly along the main highway in the village of Gya, Kharu. Owned and managed by Nawang Rigzin, the homestay offers travellers a comfortable base from which to experience the beauty, culture, and everyday life of Ladakh. Established in 2023, Sal Sal Homestay has already welcomed around 30 guests and has received quite good feedback from visitors. Nawang is a farmer, and agriculture remains the main source of livelihood for his family. His connection to farming and village life adds an authentic local dimension to the guest experience.
